An Introduction to Meher Baba

Some two thousand years ago in a small area among a small number of people, fairly remote from the main centers of mankind, one called Jesus said, “I and My Father are One,” and “ I am the Way.” With little travel himself, he had a profound effect on a large portion of the world and established a long line of great saints and lovers of God.
One thousand five hundred years ago, in a small even more isolated area, among an equally small number of people, one called Mohammed said, “Come in under the shade of this tree, for the Way is beset with dangers,” and without travelling much himself, set in motion a remarkable outpouring of spirituality. Inspired by Mohammed’s teachings, the traditions of the Sufis can be seen as one of the highest examples of the life of brotherhood and love for God.
And now, once again, one named Meher Baba, living in India has said, “I am that same Ancient One that comes from time to time." He said, "I was Ram, I was Krishna, I was Jesus, I was Buddha and now I am Meher Baba.” God has once again visited His Creation in man-form as Meher Baba. He is that perfect example of loving compassion that inspires my paintings and drawings.
There are many sources of information on His life and teachings that can be accessed on the internet, you-tube, libraries, and bookstores.
